Microblading -A technique where hair-like strokes are created using a manual Microblading tool along the eyebrow to enhance, reshape, or create a natural looking appearance on the brows. This option is best for Dry and Combination Skin types. Younger and thicker skin will also hold onto the microblading strokes better as well.

Combination Brow -A technique where hair-like strokes are created using a manual Microblading tool along the eyebrow to enhance, reshape, or create a natural looking appearance on the brows. Machine shading is then added to enhance the brow area, giving a more filled-in, make up look. This option is best for those with Oily or Combination Skin types. The amount filled in can be more natural or go bolder depending on the client’s preference. A client that wants a bolder brow should choose this option as Jodie will be able to define and fill to your desired look.

Approximately 3 hours at initial service and a $50 non-refundable deposit due at time of booking.

Powder/Ombre Brow -A brow technique utilizing a permanent makeup machine to create a shaded, fuller look on the brow. Powder brows offer a look that is similar to an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow powder with a soft pixelated finish.. This service is recommended for Mature Skin types. Any person can request this service. It is the best service for thinner, mature skin, and for those with minimal hair in the brow line..

Approximately 3-3.5 hours. $50 non-refundable deposit due at time of booking.

Color Correction- Starting at price of $600 Brow session utilizing color theory to cover, blend and correct previous permanent makeup that has changed color over time. Microblading, Shading or Machine Shading may be used. Options will be assessed and discussed before the procedure. Final results may take several sessions. An in person or virtual consultation is required. Price will be determined at the consultation.

Saline Tattoo Removal- Starting at price of $300 Brow removal session using a permanent make up machine with saline to lift and break up the permanent make up particles underneath the skin due to previous permanent makeup that has turned an undesirable color or is a shape that a person is not happy with. Removal WILL take multiple sessions, in some cases 6 or more depending on the saturation of pigment and 6 weeks heal time is needed between sessions.. Removal does not include new brows once removal is completed. An in person or virtual consultation is required. Overall Price will be determined at the consultation.

Brows for a King - a semi-permanent tattooing technique that uses a handheld tool to delicately etch hairlike strokes into the eyebrows. It gives the natural appearance of fuller, defined eyebrows. Jodie will work to reshape the brows, add volume and depth to sparse areas of an existing brow, and even create realistic brows if hair is not growing there. Working with the right artist will allow you to keep a masculine brow.

$50 Deposit Required at the time of booking

Lip Blushing- Lip Blush is a form of semi-permanent makeup. It is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape and color as well as giving definition and the illusion of fullness. The lips cannot be made bigger with this service. If clients are looking for fuller lips it is recommended that they have lip fuller done at least 3 weeks prior to the lip blushing service. If client has a history of cold sores, it is important to get a prescription and begin taking antibiotic 2 days prior to lip blushing service. Different blushing techniques can be discussed at the time of service.

$50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. Approximately 3 hours at initial service.

Lash Line Enhancement/Eyeliner-This method involves creating a delicate light black or brown line across the top & bottom lashes. For this look, pigment is inserted between the lashes to achieve the illusion of fuller and darker lashes and opening and awakening the eye! The eyeliner technique that Jodie prefers is a soft liner - Jodie feels that the dramatic winged looks and thick liners don’t heal well over time and are not looks that you want to be stuck with forever. A thicker liner can be done above the top lashes and within the bottom lashes giving you the wake up a go look that gives your morning routine ease. You are then able to add your wing yourself on those special events!

$50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. Approximately 3 hours at initial service.

Touch Up -For Brows, this service is to be performed between 8-12 weeks after Initial Session. For Lips and Liners the touch up will need to be performed 4-8 weeks after the initial session. This service is for EXISTING clients only. Customers must schedule these appointments within the allotted timeframe. If they are after the allotted timeframe they will be require to book a “Color Boost” session. The Touchup Session is the perfecting session to fill in any areas that may not have taken in the Initial Session and also perfect the desired shape. *No deposit required for Touch Up. This session is for previous customers. If you have not had a procedure with Jodie before, you will need to book an Initial Session.

Approximately 2-2.5 hours. There is not deposit needed for the touch up session. Touch ups are $100.00

Color Boost- Procedure to freshen up shape and color for existing customers who have had Permanent Brow, Lip, or Liner services with Jodie. . A color boost will only be performed on clients whose brow, lip blush, and liners are faded by at least 50 %. Not sure?? Text a photo to Jodie. This session is for previous customers. If you have not had a procedure with us before, you will need to book an Initial Session, Color Correction Session. or Removal

Lash Lift & Tint/Brow Lift & Tint- The Lash Lift and Tint instantly brightens and awakens your eye area, making them look more youthful, as if mascara has been perfectly applied. It's great for guests with naturally straight or sparse eyelashes, guests with naturally blonde or red lashes, or anyone who wants extra lift and definition! Guests need to have at least medium length lashes for this service. Brow Lamination & Tint is a two-step eyebrow treatment that involves correcting the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution to create a brushed look and then applying dye to darken the brow hair. Approximately 1 hour for these procedures.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a candidate for microblading?

Those who have hair loss (or no hair) in the brow area, those that have nice brows but wish for a more polished look, or those who just want to wake up and go without the hassle of makeup or “drawing on” the brows.

Who is NOT a good candidate for microblading?

• Current smoker or recent history of smoking
  
• Eczema or Psoriasis (in the eyebrow area)
  
• Sunburn/Suntan (in brow area - must wait until skin returns to normal color)
  
• On Blood Thinners
  
• Hemophilia
  
• Pregnant or Breast feeding (unless cleared by doctor)
  
• Autoimmune Diseases
  
• Certain skin types are NOT good candidates for microblading. If you have severe sun damage, bleed easily, have paper thin skin or excessive freckling, you may not have ideal results with microblading.
  

Will I still need to apply makeup on my brows?

This depends on your personal preference. You may want to add makeup to your microbladed eyebrows as your brows start to fade over time but before you get an annual color boost.

How long does the appointment take?

The initial appointment lasts approximately 1.5-3. Whereas the touch up is 1.5-2.5 hours

How long do results last?

No guarantee can be made as to how long eyebrow tattoo results will last.

The pigment used in 3D brow microblading is semi-permanent and can last 12 months. The pigment will begin to fade around 8-10 months, so maintenance appointments (referred to as touch-up or color boost) are recommended. If you choose not to get a color boost, the pigment will fade naturally over time.

Factors that will cause your microbladed brows to fade faster:

• Smoking

• Skin Type
• Autoimmune disorders

Does Microblading hurt?

The majority of my customers say that they do not feel much of anything after the primary numbing is applied. The primary numbing is placed on your brows for 25 minutes prior to your procedure. I use secondary numbing throughout the procedure to maintain your comfort.

Do I need a Touch Up procedure?

Yes! This is highly encouraged and recommended for the best and most long lasting results. After your initial session, you will lose 30-40% of the pigment that I place. Over the 8 weeks following the procedure your brows will go through many healing changes. It is at your touch up appointment that we will reinforce the pigment placed in the original strokes and make any adjustments that you are wanting after seeing the healed results! It is not common, but a second touch up can sometimes be needed.

When can I get a Color Boost?

I love answering this question! A Color Boost can only be when your brows have faded at least 50.% It is sometimes difficult for clients to wait on this as they often times get use to the bolder brows that they’ve had. However, if brows are not faded enough and pigment is continually implanted into the skin on top of other pigment, this can altar the color, cause pigment to migrate and heal to an unwanted look, and make future fading take longer and longer. It is best to wait. If you are a new client wanting a color boost, you must send in a picture of your brows before I can approve this. If you are unhappy with the shape or if your brows have healed an undesirable color, I may recommend a Color Correction appointment or Saline removal before doing your brows again.

Policies

If you cancel your appointment, your $50 deposit will be forfeited as they are non refundable

If you no call, no show your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the remaining total. You must call or text (713)410-3733 to cancel with at least 72 hours notice.

You must cancel or reschedule your appointment at a minimum of 72 hours before your appointment time by calling or texting (713)410-3733. Messages on social media are not appropriate forms of contact for this. If you cancel or reschedule within 72 hours of your appointment you will be charged 50% of your total appointment cost.

Touch ups are to be done within 8-12 weeks after your initial appointment (brows) and 4-6 weeks (lips/liners). These are $100. The pigment can fade tremendously after only 1 session and the touch up is required. If a client schedules their touch up after the allotted time frame, they will be charged an additional $150.

Extra guests are not allowed in the studio (this includes friends, children, other adults, moms, pets). This is considered a tattoo parlor which prohibits children & pets. Also, I am an artist and need to have complete focus. I cannot be entertaining a guest and I need clients to remain quiet and still while I am working.
